Some new features are coming to Navigator. The Samsung SMT-H3090 will have a 320 GB HDD and MoCA for Follow Me TV. Follow Me TV is the TWC name for multiroom DVR. You'll probably have to swap out your non DVR's for new MoCA enabled boxes that work with it. The new features are remote DVR management and longer program listings.

It sounds like this type of technology will also be made available for people who have cable that use Motorola systems too, eventually down the line. Good news for us ex-Adelphia customers.

Yep but us SA guys will get the SMT-H3090. The new Moto boxes are probably for moto areas. However I don't see the Moto boxes being used in the Cisco/SA Navigator areas. TWC San Diego is also testing the SMT-H3090. Bob Barlow mentioned that they are testing them. It should come out later this year.

I am a employee of TWC and live in palm desert, I just finished testing the new Samsung HD/DVR box 3270 model. Still quite a few bugs in it, but its not bad. However the bugs that are in the box made me glad to go back to my SA 8300HD DVR box. I am suppose to be testing some brand new Motorola HD/DVRs in the DC system here next week and I will let you all know how it goes!

I found out how to get the secret HW diagnostic menu. Press Vol+ and Info on the box's front panel. No Message light. Then you can access this menu for your own enjoyment.

YEAH!!!! We can finally see signal levels again on "HDC" boxes!!!!

BTW: Simultaneous hold VOL+ & INFO doesn't work on 3250HD.

Is this supposed to work with the SA4250HDC?
I just tried it and it didn't work.

It works on my 4250HDC. You have to hold it and there is no mail light.
